Parenting Workshop

Our Strengths-Based Parenting workshop combines didactic and experiential learning to help parents learn an approach to building their child’s success.  Based on positive psychology and behavioral science, it provides parents of teens and young adults with the tools to interact with their child in everyday life.  With plenty of role-playing and situational practice in both large and small group settings, participants will be given the opportunity to apply the theory in practical situations. The course ends with an individual parent coaching session to help parents take what they learned and strategize in a one-on-one setting.

IS THIS WORKSHOP FOR ME?

  • You feel like you’re in a rut with your child, always pointing out what he’s doing wrong, and it doesn’t feel right.

  • You are looking for ways to motivate your child

  • You are looking to build your child’s self-confidence.

  • You know you need to give a consequence, but you’re just not sure how to do it.

  • You are often in a situation with your child where you’re stuck with “what do I do.

  • You are looking to have a more positive relationship with your child

WHAT PREVIOUS PARTICIPANTS HAVE SAID:

“Initially I choose to sign up for this training because I wanted to enhance my relationship with my

children and I wanted to change the way I was parenting. I found, however, that I was and am

able to parlay this training into ALL relationships that I have. Work; marriage; friendships;

adversaries; every relationship benefits from this training.”
