Reuven Rosen, LCSW-C
Therapist

Reuven is a family man who tailors his therapeutic approach to each client, utilizing tools from Positive Psychology, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. He works with adolescents, adults, couples, and families to manage anxiety, depression, and relationship conflicts.

When working with couples and families, Reuven works to build connection and strong relationships. He helps his clients to identify patterns that lead to disconnection and to cultivate new emotional bonds. Reuven recognizes that healthy relationships are an important component in living a meaningful life and that having a strong support system from loved ones gives strength during adversity.

When working with individuals, Reuven strives to help his clients accomplish big goals in a gentle and supportive atmosphere. He sees each client as an individual and builds rapport based on mutual respect. Regardless of what is brought to the table, he recognizes the importance of positive intentions and helps bring them to fruition by empowering and motivating his clients. He never pushes his clients in ways that feel uncomfortable; instead, he partners with them to discover their strengths and values.

He believes in the goodness of every person and every relationship. His professional journey began as a teacher, where he quickly discovered his passion for supporting students’ emotional health. From there, he became a parent coach, helping clients manage children with intense behaviors. He then returned to school and earned an additional master’s degree in social work from the University of Maryland, where he worked with teens and families in intensive outpatient and partial hospitalization programs.

Reuven looks forward to working with you to help you realize your best, most meaningful life.
